Travis Brockington, aka “Brock”, is an emerging Neo-Soul singer / songwriter from the small town of Selma, NC, located on the outskirts of Raleigh, NC. He is the proud father of 6 suns (he calls them suns because, like him, they shine like one) – Tre, Qua, Mekhi, Zion, Selah and Kiowa. Brock is a melting pot of R&B, Hip-Hop and Neo-Soul. His music is inspired by the likes of Raheem DeVaughn and Dwele. As a child, Brock loved to sing and entertain others with his outgoing personality. He has a drive within him to make people laugh and smile.
Brock has had the pleasure of sharing the stages with artists such as Raheem DeVaughn and Marvin Sapp. Brock has also been featured on music with a host of local artists. His talent has been requested and booked at numerous venues including Birthday and Home Going celebrations, as well as weddings.
Brock’s sing-rap vocals will remind you of an early-era D’Angelo but he also embodies a soulful style that will remind you of Anthony Hamilton. His music is packed with powerful, conscious lyrics.
Brock is currently working on his debut EP called “The Parable”, with his first single “Keep Up Wit Me” recently released on all streaming platforms on April 28, 2023. This EP reflects Brock’s personal life experiences and growth as a man and father. His dream is to leave his legacy to his children that “you can do anything you put your mind to”.
